After breakfast we will explore the breathtaking Meteora. The unique rock formations soar skyward, supporting ageless Christian Monasteries amidst stunning landscapes, seemingly suspended in the air. Visiting the interiors is truly captivating, complemented by the remarkable vistas. We will return to Athens passing through Trikala, Lamia, and Thermopylae, with a brief stop to view the Leonidas Monument across the road. We will arrive in Athens early in the evening.

Early morning departure today for the stunning Island of Santorini, where you can bask in the sun and unwind on the beach or perhaps wander through the charming capital, Fira.

Today offers you the chance to delve into the beauty of Santorini at your leisure. Maybe consider joining an optional boat excursion in the largest volcanic caldera above sea level. Explore the active volcano, take a dip in the soothing thermal waters and enjoy a revitalizing mud bath.

Your journey returns you to the mainland today, as you set off towards the port for your ferry to Athens. Once you arrive, you will head to your hotel, and the rest of your day is yours to wander and discover at your leisure.

In Greece, the Hellenic National Tourism Organization has established a Crisis Resilience tax on hotel stays effective from 01/01/2018. The charges are €5 for 3-star hotels, €10 for 4-star hotels, and €15 for 5-star hotels, applied per room, per night, and are not included in the tour cost. The segment of the tour featuring the Greek Islands is semi-independent. Accommodation, ferry tickets, and transfers to and from ferry ports are provided, but there will not be a tour leader or guide. This section of the journey is designed for relaxation and enjoyment of the Greek Island ambiance.

Meteora Appropriate Attire: The monasteries enforce strict attire guidelines. To enter the Meteora monasteries, adherence to the following dress code is essential: Women must wear long skirts, dresses, or sarongs; covering the knees is insufficient, so trousers or shorts are not allowed. Men are required to wear long pants. Sleeveless shirts are prohibited. Ensure you have the suitable clothing prior to your visit.
Child Discount : For children aged 8 - 10 sharing a room with two fully-paying adults, a 30% discount is applied, and the child will receive a fold-up bed.
