Following a leisurely morning exploration of Nafplion, we will journey through the stunning Argolis region, leading us to a pivotal landmark of Greek history: Mycenae. This historic site features the iconic Lion’s Gate, sturdy Cyclopean Walls, the illustrious tomb of Agamemnon, and beyond. Delight in a meal served aboard as we embark in the afternoon towards Monemvasia, a medieval Byzantine enclave. The picturesque views from the sea are beautifully complemented by the rich history found on land. Often called the Gibraltar of the East, uncover the well-preserved Byzantine and Venetian architecture of this town, recognized as the birthplace of the esteemed Greek poet Giannis Ritsos. We will stroll through its winding alleys and quaint churches, as well as ascend its ancient fortress. Our night will be spent on the tranquil waters.

Following this visit, set forth on an adventure to the medieval wonder of Monemvasia, intricately etched into a vast rock formation. The town’s unique architecture and captivating history make it an indispensable stop on your journey. Arrive in the early evening to relish free time exploring this remarkable medieval fortified town, which also served as the birthplace of the celebrated Greek poet, Giannis Ritsos, whose global impact and literary influence are widely recognized. Enjoy an overnight experience at sea headed towards Gythion.

Gythion
Arrive at Gythion, a delightful coastal town nestled in the Peloponnese, which served as the ancient Spartan port. Stroll along the bustling harbor, savor delicious seafood delicacies, and delve into the rich maritime heritage of the town. Consider an optional excursion to the Mani peninsula and Cape Tenaro, along with the breathtaking Dirou Caves adorned with stunning stalactites and stalagmites. Upon departing Gythion, we will traverse the picturesque Mani Peninsula to reach Diros and explore the magnificent cave, whose entrance lay hidden for around 4,500 years until its discovery in the 1960s. After our cave adventure, we will head to the nearby Areopolis for a leisurely walk through its charming streets. Mani, located at the southernmost tip of the Peloponnese, is an extraordinary region characterized by its hidden lakes and rivers, rugged landscapes, and ancient towers, evoking the spirit of the warriors who once inhabited and fought on this land. Dinner will be served onboard as we set sail late into the evening towards Pylos. We will spend the night at sea.

Pylos
Embark on a journey to Pylos, a charming coastal gem rich in Greek lore and historical significance. Explore the Palace of Nestor, a notable archaeological landmark linked to the tales of Homer. Nestled along the scenic Navarino Bay, Pylos has witnessed several notable naval confrontations, including a pivotal battle in 1827 which paved the path to Greek independence in 1829. This day, we offer an optional excursion to Nestor's Palace. The ruins of this ancient palace perch gracefully on a hill overlooking Pylos and were unearthed in 1939 by American archaeologist Carl Blegen. Among the highlights are the remarkably preserved royal living quarters and a bathtub that some believe belonged to the legendary king himself. After our exploration of the palace remains, we will pause at the shoreline to enjoy coffee or light refreshments. We will then return to our vessel for lunch. The evening brings a gentle sail towards Katakolon. Overnight spent at sea.

Discover Katakolon and Olympia
Arrive at the charming port of Katakolon, the key to exploring Ancient Olympia, the birthplace of the iconic Olympic Games. Stroll through the ancient ruins, including the majestic Temple of Zeus and the original Olympic stadium, as you immerse yourself in the rich athletic heritage of Greece. Katakolon is also famed for being the birthplace of Yiannis Latsis, a Greek shipping magnate, whose ancestral home now functions as the Museum of Ancient Greek Technology alongside its historic lighthouse. Today, our optional excursion offers a bus journey to Olympia, one of antiquity's most distinguished and significant sites. Olympia is cherished as the cradle of the Olympic Games and the foremost Pan-Hellenic sanctuary devoted to the worship of Zeus. The most exhilarating feature at Olympia is the stadium, which remarkably retains its appearance from over two millennia ago. Discover the Temple of Hera, the stunning Temple of Zeus, the Philippeion, erected to honor the lineage of Alexander the Great, and the Leonidion, a residence for athletes. Subsequently, we will visit the Olympia Museum, renowned as one of the most exquisite museums globally, showcasing numerous breathtaking exhibits. Enjoy a traditional lunch in Olympia and have the option to visit the museum of the History of the Olympic Games of Antiquity, schedule permitting. Travel light by utilizing soft luggage designed to slide under the bed since cabin space can be tight. We recommend packing casual attire such as shorts, t-shirts, swimwear, a warmer layer for cooler evenings, comfortable walking shoes, beach sandals, a hat, sunscreen, and mosquito repellent. In Greece, it is important to dress modestly when visiting religious sites—women should opt for skirts or dresses (no pants or shorts), and sleeveless tops or swimwear are prohibited. Towels and bed linens will be provided on board.

Aboard the small ship cruises there are no recreational facilities for children and reservations for those under the age of five are not allowed. Taking that into consideration please note that children onboard are their parents’ sole responsibility.
The majority of shore excursions are excluded from cruise fares so please verify the cruise details and are accessible in line with the cruise timetable and visiting ports. Information is provided in your cabin and additionally shared daily by the onboard Cruise Coordinator. Shore excursions depend on both shore and weather conditions and require a minimum number of participants.
On our intimate vessels, you will discover refined dining areas, generous sun decks, and cozy lounges. Pools are not available, as it is typical for our guests to enjoy swimming off the ships or accessing hidden beaches via tender. Your cruise itinerary includes either breakfast plus lunch or dinner, or all meals. Dining occurs at designated times with adaptable seating arrangements. A limited laundry service is offered at an additional charge on our smaller ships. Shore excursions are available for an extra fee. Both the M/Y Pegasos and the M/Y Variety Voyager feature a compact wellness suite offering massages and various beauty treatments. For sports enthusiasts: swimming from the ships is encouraged, as well as snorkeling, kayaking, and canoeing. In select locations, diving excursions can be arranged.
Our boats are equipped with fins, masks, snorkels, and kayaks that you can use during swimming breaks. Additionally, you'll discover a cozy borrowing library along with board games and playing cards for entertainment. Often, movies are screened in the Lounges of the vessels, so make sure to refer to the Daily Program for the schedule of show times.
Each cabin boasts its own elegantly designed bathroom complete with shower facilities. They are all equipped with air conditioning, central music systems, and telephones for communication within the ship. Every cabin comes with a hairdryer for convenience.
